Ingredients (3–4 servings)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 red chili, chopped (optional)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped (or 1 cup canned diced tomatoes)
- 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups (about 16 oz / 450 g) spaghetti sauce
Steps
- Make sure the ground turkey is fully thawed.
- Chop the onion and stir-fry until it turns golden yellow.
- Add the ground turkey and stir-fry until fully cooked, about 8 minutes.
- Add all the other ingredients, reduce to low heat, cover the pot, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
