Ingredients (3–4 servings)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 red chili, chopped (optional)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped (or 1 cup canned diced tomatoes)
  • 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups (about 16 oz / 450 g) spaghetti sauce

Steps

  1. Make sure the ground turkey is fully thawed.
  2. Chop the onion and stir-fry until it turns golden yellow.
  3. Add the ground turkey and stir-fry until fully cooked, about 8 minutes.
  4. Add all the other ingredients, reduce to low heat, cover the pot, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
